Overview
Takes a text-file list of project names, and creates title card PNGs for demo/course reels.
Why
As a Program Assistant, I was tasked with creating title cards for the end of semester reels for multiple courses. If it was just one course, whatever, just Photoshop it and save out a bunch of versions. Knowing this was going to be for most of the courses taught in the program, I’d rather not and instead made this tiny tool.
This ‘tool’ is dead-simple. I explained how to use it to one of the other PA’s that wasn’t familiar with Houdini in about 30 seconds.
Expanding
I expanded on this later for the Coursework page, to automatically name the files on export.
